Die Route führt von Lusaka, der Hauptstadt Sambias zu den Victoriafällen (bei Livingstone) und zurück über Simbabwe.

The route was from Zambia's capital city Lusaka to the Victoria Falls (near Livingstone) and back through Zimbabwe.

Es gibt hauptsächlich Zwiebeln und Tomaten.

The major products sold are tomatoes and onions.

Wir hatten geplant in dieser Lodge zu übernachten. Doch dort mussten wir feststellen, dass 2 Tage zuvor alle 20 Hütten abgebrannt sind.

We had planned to stay in this lodge, but when we arrived we had to learn that all 20 huts had burnt 2 days earlier.

Im Eisenbahnmuseum von Livingstone versucht man diese Lokomotive wieder in Gang zu bekommen.

In the train museum of Lvingstone, the staff is trying to run this old locomotive.

At the Victoria Falls we enjoy a luxury accommodation...

Simbabwe / Zimbabwe 2015

Am nächsten Tag besuchen wir die Fälle von der simbabwischen Seite aus.

The next day we visit the falls from the Zimbabwean side.

Um den Wagenheber anzusetzen behelfen wir uns mit einem Sandhügel, darüber eine Fußmatte, das Warndreieck, dem Sambia und dem Simbabwe Reiseführer.

In order to use the car-jack, we built a sand heap and top it with the car mat, our breakdown triangle, the Zambia and the Zimbabwe book.

Wenig später bricht unser Auspuff.
