Mexiko & Guatemala 2009

Leider kam unsere Fotokamera auf unerfreuliche Weise in den Besitz von zwei jungen Guatemalteken. Da dieser Besitzwechsel auf offener Straße illegal erfolgte, blieb den Räubern aus Angst vor den Gesetzeshütern nicht die Zeit, uns die Speicherkarte zurückzugeben. Von den Fotos, die wir anschließend mit einer spontan gekauften Billigkamera aufgenommen hatten, blieb leider aufgrund eines Speicherkartenfehlers lediglich ein Teil der Bilder auswertbar. Was man hier noch sieht, ist grob gesagt die "Hälfte von der Hälfte" unserer Fotos.

Unfortunately, there was an involuntary change in the possession of our photo camera in Antigua, Guatemala. Since the handover was carried out on a public street in fear of law enforcement, there was not enough time to eject the memory card and return it to us. Later, we bought a new, cheap camera that had a memory card failure. The result was that most pictures could not be retrieved. What you see here are the remainder, basically it is "half of the half" of the pictures that we took. More details here.
